Medical Billing Supervisor / Administrative Assistant: Oversee the Medical Billing and Collection division of the company. The supervisor will supervise the staff, such as medical billers, follow up clerks, work comp collectors/hearing rep. We are also a Medisoft and EMR value added reseller. Candidates must have Medisoft experience. Candidate will be goal oriented, have a track record of improving process and increasing revenues. Candidate must have stong skills in follow up on unpaid claims and working from aging reports to identify why claims are not being paid.
Duties and Responsibilities: • Experience: Minimum of one year experience in supervising medical billing practices and/or medical billing office. Must have a thorough working knowledge of billing under Medicare, MediCal, HMO, private insurance companies and workers’ compensation. Must also have the ability to work independently and exercise sound decision-making skills and good judgment.
